For each booking, a 15-minute waiting/load/unloading time is included in the price. For every 30 minutes (or part of) thereafter, an additional £10 will be invoiced on top of quotation (for a 1 man service).
Tolls/Congestion Charges – These will be invoiced and added to the customer’s quotation at cost price.
The invoice must be paid at destination arrival prior to the unloading of the vehicle for short distance journeys by cash only. For long-distance journeys, a 50% deposit is required in advance with the remaining 50% paid at destination arrival prior to unloading. Deposits are taken by cash, cheque, postal order or online as long as funds have time to clear before the date of the move.
Please note that our prices are based on customers self-insuring. We provide Good in Transit Insurance which covers for damage if the vehicle is an accident travelling from pickup to drop off. We can provide insurance for an additional charge which depends on the total value required. Also, some home insurance policies include removal insurance which is worth checking. Straps and blankets will be provided and used in the vans to secure items.
